Homer Laughlin is an American iconic dinnerware company named after its founder. Most noted for the popular everyday Fiesta Ware ceramic pattern in dozens of colors, the company also produced gorgeous formal China patterns. This is a beautiful pattern produced in 1947 from its factory in West Virginia. The pattern is Apple Blossom, although I think it looks more like Cherry blossoms...it features pretty pink blooms with yellow centers and two-toned green leaves on brown branches. The plate shape is Liberty and the rims are finished with a gold gilt that is in very good vintage condition. Everything is displayed on a cream ivory China.
