The imperial seals ensured patrons in pubs that they were indeed getting the correct amount of ale that they paid for. These lovely 19th-Century measures are very collectible and it is very difficult to find a complete set.They are hand forged and have their original wonderful patination.The measure size is from 1/2 pint to 1/8 gill.
