An exceptional design with heavy raised paste gilding and incredible turquoise jeweling on their collars. This set of plates were made by the storied English company of Coalport and custom ordered through one of the fine gilded age retailers of Spaulding & Co Chicago. Crisp white porcelain ground shows off the ornate detailing and they also feature shaped double 24-karat gold bands. In very nice antique condition.
