Amazing Victorian silver-plate water pitcher, cups and bowl made by the Meridian Silver Company, Connecticut. Beautifully detailed filigree, adorned with hummingbirds. Comes with two silver goblets and an accessory bowl decorated with the same birds. Perhaps for ice. This was owned by my client’s great grandfather, Mr. Plant, who lived across the street from William Faulkner in Mobile, Alabama. Please see photos. The bowl is 15“ x 9“ and 6 inches high. Measurements for the rest of it below. The pitcher holds 10 cups. The front of the pitcher is engraved.
